  • WPA Fundraising - £8,500!

    Mon 09 Jul 2018

A massive thank you to the WPA and the whole community for raising a fantastic total of £8,500 for the school during the 2017-18 year! All the events have been extremely successful, not only generating generous funds for the school, but also creating a brilliant atmosphere for everyone: children, staff, parents and the wider community.

The funds will help improve the Nursery and Reception areas with new equipment, as well as replace the Netball Court posts for the year ahead.

We are very grateful to the organisers, the volunteers and everyone who contributed with their knowledge, skills, time and great team spirit!

  • Anti-Bullying Week: 13-17 November 2017

    Tue 07 Nov 2017

It’s National Anti-Bullying week next week (13 – 17th November). We will be using this week as a great opportunity to reinforce the messages about this topic. We will encourage discussions about diversity and uniqueness, as well as the importance of being kind to each other, and how it feels when people are unkind. In addition, we will discuss ways that the children could/should treat each other nicely. The slogan this year is ‘All Different All Equal’ which is an understanding that we try very hard to instil here at Westbourne.
