  Westbourne were awarded two School Games Marks last academic year for the ongoing commitment, delivery and achievement in sport, specifically for our programme within school, and for the virtual programme delivered in the Summer Term. This is a great achievement for the school; a huge thank you to everyone at Westbourne who makes sport such a success!

  

• Music Mark Award

  Westbourne is very proud to have been nominated by Sutton Music Service, Cognus Limited, to become a Music Mark School for the 2020/21 academic year – two years in a row!

  The value that we place on music and our commitment to a broad and balanced curriculum has been recognised, and as a result, we would like to celebrate it. Our certificate is being proudly displayed in school and it now  published on our website, so it can be shared with your whole school community.

  Music Mark is the UK Association for Music Education; they champion and support access to music for all children and young people.  As a Music Mark school, we are now eligible for numerous benefits including:

  •a website login to access hundreds of free resources such as lesson plans and teaching materials;

  •use of the Music Mark school logo on your website and newsletters;

  •access to Music Mark events (online and in person) including CPD events.

  Music Mark works to enable their members, and the wider music education sector, to deliver high-quality musical and social outcomes for all children and young people. They would like to thank us for all the hard work your school does to support our collective vision.
