Play these fun games we have made to help you improve your phonics.

 

Please enter only your first name and initial of your surname followed by your year group and teacher initial e.g.  Bob  Smith in year 2 with Mr Booth would be Bob S 2B. This will allow us to see how you are getting on with your phonics.

Take the 's' off of the end, sound out and blend to read the word. Add the 's' back on to the whole word.

Consonant cluster are groups of letters that still make their own sound when you are reading a word. This is different to a digraph when 2 or 3 letters go together to make a new sound. Sometimes practising to say these in one go can help to read longer words. Watch this video for an explanation of consonant clusters.
